Poem 38 -🤷‍♂️ Bruce's excuses! 🤷‍♂️

Hi! I am eleven years old, 👦

And I am called Mr Bruce!

I hold the record to know, 🥇

The universe’s every excuse.

I trick my teachers every day,

Coz my homework’s never done. 🙈

And I tell my teachers “I was sick”

Though the whole day, I had fun. 🙊

My Science projects are incomplete,

I haven’t started them yet. 🏃

I tell my teachers. “I was out”,

Although I, as always, forget. 🥺

The PT teacher dumped me out of class,

Because I gave her an excuse.🚶‍♀️

All the kids had a ROTFL, 🤣🤣🤣

When I said “I didn’t have shoes”.👟

“I dropped my model in the soup”,

That was the inflexion point. 😥

My teachers were fed of my excuses,

They wanted to break my joint.🦴

Now, the kids have given me a name,

They call me the excusy Bruce. 🤦‍♂️

Well, I think it is so bizarre,

Maybe, it’s also an excuse. 🤷‍♂️
